"The
Church of Tomorrow" or "The Church of Today"
People often point to
the youth as the “church of tomorrow.” I have
even referred to them in the same manner. We
tend to lump all the teens into that group and
talk about the church of tomorrow is going to do
big things. We talk about how they are going to
rise up and dance and sing and shout the name of
Jesus Christ to all the nations. I think we need
to get rid of the “church of tomorrow” tag that
we apply to them. Instead, we need to look at
our youth and realize that they are the church
of today!
